Entirely handmade in Italy with soft, light cotton muslin, SOFFIO is the toddler bed canopy specifically designed for Babylodge^® Montessori beds. Available in three variants, each one is designed, cut and sewn to fit respectively Babylodge^® ARIA, NUVOLA and LUNA beds, both in the standard and XL size, with Babylodge^® PIÙ extension kit.

The unique charm of muslin

SOFFIO decorates Babylodge^® beds with grace and elegance. Thanks to the fabric’s very light weight (only 70 gr/sqm), SOFFIO lands on the bed structure like a veil, moving and swaying at the smallest whiff of air. The loose weave, characteristic of muslin fabrics, does not block light, instead it creates a soft, suffused atmosphere. The milk white color adds a further natural touch.

Besides providing a great decorative impact, SOFFIO canopy represents an inspiring play and imagination hook for the little ones: this way dressed up, the bed turns into a hideout, a real den where to take shelter and fantasize with freedom.

One thousand and one draperies

Each variant is:

• designed to dress the respective Babylodge^® bed model, with a textile area between 4 and 5 sqm approx.

• equipped with cotton strings (between 12 and 20, according to variant), sewn with absolute accuracy in correspondence of the bed’s junctions, to ensure maximum fit.

SOFFIO toddler bed canopy can be placed in several layouts and draperies. To cover the full bed structure, you’ll just need to tie all strings with a simple bow. It can also be dropped free on one or more sides, or it can be wrapped with the help of a ribbon or a curtain tieback. It is even possible to lift and tie the bottom corners to the top part of the bed structure, or it can be collected as drape on just one portion of the bed (see product images).

• ARIA: about 4.5 sqm of cotton muslin, 20 strings

• NUVOLA: about 4 sqm of cotton muslin, 12 strings

• LUNA: about 5 sqm of cotton muslin, 16 strings

Due to its handcrafted nature, slight differences in shape and size should be considered as peculiarities of craft production. To preserve the fabric’s characteristics, it is recommended to follow the maintenance instructions detailed on the label sewn on the item.
